Evolution Martial Arts - Sydney

 

The Head Instructor of Evolution Martial Arts is Raymond Morcomb. Sensei Raymond started karate in 1989 and has graded to 4th Dan under the auspices of the Japan Karate Association (JKA). He is the holder of a number of state and national titles, including the 2004 JKA State Kumite and Kata Champion and the 2008 SKC National Kata Champion. He has represented Australia at the 1996,1998 Shoto World Cups, the 2001 WKC World Cup and the 2008 SAJKA tri-nations event in Johannesburg.

Club Information

The style of karate we practice is known as Shotokan.

It is the method originally pioneered by the Okinawan Master Gichin Funakoshi and further developed in Japan by Master Masatoshi Nakayama.

Location

Training is held at two dojo locations - Thornleigh and Pennant Hills.
