Ettingshausens Dynamic Arts - Sydney

 

The Head Instructor of the dojo is Michael Ettingshausen, who is a 4th dan black belt and has been studying Shotokan karate since 1984. Michael graded to 4th Dan in 2004 in Tokyo Japan. He has been a member of the Australian team since 1992 and has represented Australia at eight World Championships. Captain of the Australian team 2000, 2004, 2006. He lived and trained in Japan in 1994 and his training has taken him all over the world. Michael’s competition record in the Open Men’s division has spanned over 20 years. In that time he has been the NSW Mens Kumite champion 10 times, and Australian National Champion 7 times.

Club Information

Michael and Natalie Ettingshausen opened Ettingshausen’s Dynamic Arts in 1995 and Michael has instructed karate full time since that time. Michael has been a certified Free Style Group exercise instructor since 1996 and is also certified as a level 4 Personal Trainer. At EDA Michael is the head of the Martial Arts division and teaches a range of classes from Kinda Karate to Black belt adults.

Training is held at 3 dojo locations - Kirrawee, Cronulla and Miranda.

We have classes suitable for all ages and levels of expertise that are conducted in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
