Browns Bay Dojo - New Zealand

Father and son team, Senseis John Grieve and Mark Grieve (3rd Dan), are the head instructors at Long Bay Dojo. Trained by the Japan Karate Association (JKA), they try to inspire their students through honest training in basic and advanced techniques and encourage interaction by means of gasshukus (training camps), seminars, gradings and competitions for adults and children in New Zealand and in Australia.
Club Information
The style of karate we practice is Shotokan, pioneered by Japanese Okinawan master Gichin Funakoshi and developed by Master Masatoshi Nakayama.
Our chief instructor is Sensei Keith Geyer 7th Dan of the Honbu Dojo in Melbourne Australia. The Browns Bay dojo is run by the Grieve family.
Location
Training is held at our dojo at the Long Bay Primary School on the following days:
Monday Juniors 6pm -7pm Seniors 7pm-8.00pm
Wednesday Juniors 6pm -7pm Seniors 7pm-8.00pmWe have classes suitable for all ages and levels of expertise that are conducted in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
